Tamarack logs, also known as hackmatack or larch, are excellent for taxidermy, woodworking, rustic decor, and craft projects as well as in terrariums, vivariums, ripariums, paludariums, floral arrangements, and even landscaping. The logs are twenty-four inches long, and you can choose your size diameter (give or take a half inch).
Each of our logs are found from downed trees on our North Central Wisconsin property. We have planted over 20,000 trees to create a sustainable system that replenishes any trees fallen and removed from our land.
The log(s) you receive will be similar to those shown in the picture. Bulk amounts or custom sizes are available, contact for pricing. Kiln drying is also available, just ask!
Note that because of the nature of the wood, sap may seep out on the ends which can easily be sanded or sawed off. The pine needles will also eventually turn yellow and fall off.
