These are two pounds of pine straw from red pine trees that we planted on our own land in North Central Wisconsin. The needles are approximately 3-4 inches long. Pine straw is commonly used for gardens, plants, lawns, beddings, props, or any other project that needs natural products. It is also a natural rodent repellent. Pigeon breeders and others that raise birds often use red pine needles because they are softer than sticks or other types of conifer needles for soft bedding for eggs prior to hatching and after for the chicks comfort. The box size is 12 x 12 x 6 inches.
