Jack Pine Cones, Maroon Colored Jack Pine, Grey Pine, 800 Count

These are 800 maroon colored jack pine cones from Wisconsin. These unique cones come in different shapes, colors and sizes. The reason these are maroon and are more gray on the outside is due to opening up a year or two after the cones were developed. Some cones open the first year on the tree and are brown due to the lack of weathering. The cones that open a year or two later is due to dealing with the elements which cause outside of the cones to weather. When they open they give a beautiful maroon color from the top.

Mother Nature made them with a personality that is second to none. Their size is generally around 1 1/2 inches high by around 1 1/2 wide. Please keep in mind they could vary 1/2 inch one way or another. Just like a snowflake, no two are alike. They are real and natural from Wisconsin.
